"In a closed society where everybody's guilty, the only crime is getting caught. In a world of thieves, the only final sin is stupidity. "

This is an interview with Hunter S. Thompson from January 2003 that I just found. Hunter S. Thompson always was and always will be a hero of mine because he stood up for what is right, and he pointed a very loud and jagged finger at all of those who used their power for any and everything corrupt. He was a modern day hero and he will be remembered as such. Now I tried posting the interview once but blogger is stupid and it won't format it correctly (big fucking surprise). Hunter believed that 9/11 was an inside job and some sources say that he was even working on a story. This is from the 2003 interview (which you can read here), "Bush is really the evil one here and it is more than just him. We are the Nazis in this game and I don't like it. I am embarrassed and I am pissed off. I mean to say something. I think a lot of people in this country agree with me -...we'll see what happens to me if I get my head cut off next week -- it is always unknown or bushy-haired strangers who commit suicide right afterwards with no witnesses."

.

On Febuary 20th Hunter S. Thompson was found dead, from what authorities reported a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Thompson's family says he was not depressed, nor was he in enough to pain to kill himself. In fact, by all reports, he was quite happy. He was talking on the phone to his wife, getting ready to work on his column, when he decided it would be wise to kill himself, so that he could go out (we are told) while "still at the top of his form," even though this would mean not finishing his column or his expose on 9/11 (potentially the most important thing he would ever write).

.
...In addition, police found something odd about the gun Thompson supposedly used to kill himself. Deputy Ron Ryan said there was a spent shell casing, but there was no bullet in the firing chamber, as there should have been under normal circumstances. Sheriff's officer DiSalvo confirmed this opinion; "I think a bullet from the magazine should have cycled into the chamber".
.
The county coroner determined Thompson's death to be a suicide on February 21st. There was no CSI type of crime scene examination.

AND YOU WILL LIVE IN TERROR.

If anyone who visits the blog regularly... I don't know if any do. BUT if you've actually been here more than once you might know that I am a HUGE horror movie fan. Lucio Fulci is the Godfather Of Gore, and if you've seen any of his movies you know what I'm talking about. I have two soundtracks here for 3 of the Maestro's greatest films, Zombie, City Of The Living Dead and The Beyond (The other movie Cannibal Ferox was not by Lucio Fulci). Great music here my fiends. Visit the Manchester Morgue for more great horror movie gems.

Nothing Can Save You!

So here's some more Slayer for everyone to shred and enjoy. Metal.

Here are some videos, the last post was just too big to include them there:

I AM TRYING TO BELIEVE

The year is 2022 by your Calendar, but here, it's Year Zero (Because "the country has been born again") and the world has turned into shit. There is no longer a distinct separation of Church and State ("Whoever Resists the Authority Resists God"). Perhaps due to an onslaught of bio-terrorism attacks, the government has assumed totalitarian control and used the threat of future terrorist attacks to justify their absolute power. The government has used the water supply to drug us with Parepin, which supposedly helps combat all disease, though there is no scientific proof to justify this claim, Discontinued use of the drug has provided citizens with an increase in their clarity of thought, which the government claims is mere paranoia. The fear of terrorism seems to be the dominant factor shaping American society, with terrorism redefined to include disagreement with the government. There have also been reported sighting of what people are now calling "The Presence" which has been described as: as a ghostly arm reaching down from the sky, People who have been affected by The Presence have described feelings of intense fear, insignificance, astonishment, and forgetfulness. Whether the Presence is government related or not is disputed. A key note to the information regarding the Presence is that there are pictures documenting the image of the presence. But what you need to know is that there is a Resistance, seemingly split between those who would promote violent resistance to provoke radical change, and those who would use peaceful means. Members of the resistance fear that the Parepin has rendered society complacent and hence unable to effect change. Their mission is to awaken society to the dangerous atmosphere of Year Zero, in which basic freedoms are repressed and objection to the Administration's control is not tolerated.

You've only lived a minute of your life, I must be dreaming, please stop screaming...

This great album was my introduction to Alice Cooper, my Uncle played it for me right before Halloween (I also thank my Uncle for introducing me to Cream), when I was about 11 or 12 and I never forgot how the album literally gave me goosebumps and freaked me out. I mean, I heard "School's Out" before that so I didn't really think about Alice Cooper being anything scary. But when I was younger, and my Uncle played "Steven" for me, then walking home in the dark, even with my parents by my side... it honestly freaked me out, and that's when I not only fell in love with this album, BUT with Alice Cooper as well. Welcome To My Nightmare is a concept album, the songs, heard in sequence, form a journey through the nightmares of a man named Steven. If you haven't listened to this amazing album, then you are only punishing yourself.

Someone pass me another beer...

Svartsot is a folk metal band from Denmark, and these dudes are bad ass. This is their debut, Ravnenes Saga, songs about beer, women and tradition. More great folk metal that'll make you want to play this as loud as it will go on your way to the store to pick up more beer. So drink up.

The Greatest Band in the WORLD!

If you've seen the Pick Of Destiny (If you haven't then you're dumb) than you already know that Tenacious D is the best band in the world, PERIOD. That's all I have to say about that.

This music makes me want to raid and colonize wide areas of Europe

I don't know much about this band because I can't speak/read German. But what I do know is that they are a great Viking/Folk/Black Metal band from Germany and like most Viking/Folk/Black Metal bands their lyrics are more than likely about Nordic Mythology, Nature, Trolls and shit like that. Great music though, as is the case with most bands like this. Tell me whats not to like about metal that Vikings could listen to. I fuckin love it. Here's Kromlek, and their 2005 album Kveldridhur. And from what I can gather from their site a new album is in the works as we speak... well... not speak... as... you read.

2005 - Kveldridhur

Melodic Metal!

I'm sure you've heard of Melodic Death Metal, well... this is apparently the BEST of Melodic Death Metal, so... there's that. There are some great bands on here and some I've never fuckin' heard of, I just grabbed this so I haven't even had a chance to fully check it out yet, so you grab it, give it a listen. Or don't, I don't really care what you motherfuckers do.

01. Darkane - Chaos Vs Order
02. Chronicle Of Tyrants - Nemesis
03. Blinded Colony - In Here
04. Burden Of Grief - Engaged With Destiny
05. Dimension Zero - Immaculate

14. Fall Of Serenity - Demon - (Mon)archy
15. Lords Of Decadence - Apocalypse
16. Passenger - Circles
17. Terror 2000 - Elimination Complete

The Glory Days

Here's some Metallica for your ass. No, It's not their complete discography, but it is (to me) the best era of Metallica, because there is an immediate difference in their appearance and sound after 1991, it was five years until they made another album and that album was Load, and don't get me wrong I really enjoyed the album and most of the shit they released after (with the exception of St. Anger, I personally really thought that album was shit, but opinions are like assholes, everyones got em) but it's not the thrash shit they're really known for. But then again The Black album and every album after reached #1 on the U.S. Billboard so what the fuck do I know? Here are my fondest Metallica memories.

1984 - Ride The Lightning

1986 - Master Of Puppets

LOTUS!!

This is old news to the Juggalo world, but Dark Lotus is going to be releasing a brand new album next year and that's awesome! Dark Lotus is the shit! So to celebrate this devastation that will be causin chaos in the coming year, here's the last bomb of freshness they dropped, Black Rain... I seriously listened to this album for months straight, it never left my CD player. So peep this because it's seriously fresh. And if you didn't know, there are some big releases from Psychopathic Records coming up, Psychopathics From Outer Space 3 and The Videos DVD, speculated to drop the 20th or the 27th of November.

One man's trash is another man's lover...

Daddy Long Legs is a mean ass honky. Or at least that's what the word on the streets is. If you hit up my BHG megapost than you should be familiar with Daddy. But his BHG days are over, now he's tearin shit up in a group called Wolfpac, and their style is the wickedest of wicked. This is their album Evil Is... and you gotta check it out, great fuckin album.

2001 - Evil Is...

La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Vol. 1

Here's just another quick post. This album is fuckin great, as a matter of fact, it's in my CD player right now. La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Vol. 1, my favorite album from White Zombie. No videos for this one (universalmusicgroup is a bunch of fuckin shit eating assholes who deserve a fuckin beating). You'll enjoy this one anyway. Check it out.

Over The Under

What I have for your listening pleasure now is something brutal that has been lingering in the wind for awhile now, you knew it was coming... and now it has arrived. For those of you familiar with Down you will quit reading this now and just hit up the link. For everyone else, this album is amazing, from the first track it's kicking your ass. I can't recommend this album enough. Getcha Pull!

2005 - III: Over The Under

Burning in Water and Drowing in Flame

H.I.M. is another band that I've been listening to for awhile. Since Razorblade Romance in 1999 H.I.M. has always had me captivated with their heavy melodic heartfelt lyrics and the beautiful driving force that makes up most of their albums. I am posting my favorite H.I.M. album: Dark Light. Even though I really enjoy their newest album (Venus Doom) Dark Light to me symbolizes what got me into H.I.M. in the first place. Beautiful. Enjoy.

The softer side of the Prince Of Darkness

This is a pretty bad ass album that I havent seen ANYWHERE, Apparently it was released in 1996 or 1997. Best Ballads: Ozzy Osbourne. This disc has some classic fuckin songs. As with most of the albums I post, I stumbled upon this half conscious and was complete blown away at the tracklist. Awesome. Ozzy can sing like no other, and these songs are great. I don't usually include tracklists (mostly because I'm just too fuckin lazy) but this is a great exception. I hope you guys enjoy this, because I sure have.

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 (I know, 5 parts is pretty fuckin lame, but its well worth it)

01. See You On The Other Side [0:06:14.48]
02. Mama, I'm Coming Home [0:04:15.54]

"Not all Cops are pigs... Some of them are Dicks!!"

I don't have to say shit, check this out. The band is fuckin named GWAR, and this is their newest album, Beyond Hell. This is taken from GWAR.net: Beyond Hell concerns GWAR’s epic journey into the tunnels and caverns that honeycomb your world, a journey not only to escape their earthly prison “from within”, but also to find and confront this so-called “Satan”, who seems to think that he is a bigger bad ass than Oderus. Along the way GWAR encounter’s a bevy of demonic dickheads and hapless victims, all ready to die for your entertainment because they're all a bunch of assholes. So there's that, if you don't want to check it out after reading that than you're a dildo (and not in the good way, in the BAD way, the horribly wrong way...). Plus this album contains a bad ass cover of Alice Cooper's School's Out, check out the video below.

"Hello, I'm Johnny Cash..."

He is a legend. Period. That could be all I have to say about him, and I don't think I any would argue that fact. In his 48 years making music, right from the beginning, he was what most people envisioned Country Music to be, and he was so good! He could be a country crooner, a rocker, a rebel, THE definition of an Outlaw and an Angel and Saint at the same time. A one time drug addict, a God fearing man and an all around genuine person... he is one of my biggest sources of inspiration, it seems his voice is always lingering in my mind as to how to handle certain situations. And his voice was undeniably one of a kind, I would go as far as saying his voice would be more recognizable around the world than any other. EVERYBODY knows Johnny Cash. I have many friends who strictly listen to mostly rap, but still listen, enjoy and appreciate Johnny Cash because Johnny Cash spoke directly to everyone. He is in the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Country Music Hall of Fame. Cash received multiple Country Music Awards, Grammys, and other awards, in categories ranging from vocal and spoken performances to album notes and videos. Cash was the personification of country music to many people around the world, despite his distaste for the Nashville mainstream. Cash was a musician who was not tied to a single genre. He recorded songs that could be considered rock and roll, blues, rockabilly, folk, and gospel, and exerted an influence on each of those genres. He is a great man and he will always be dearly missed. Thank You Johnny Cash.
